Cancer Information

By the time they become an adult, nearly one out of 350 children in the United States will be diagnosed with cancer.

For families of children diagnosed with cancer, they must prepare for significant changes in their lives that will test them emotionally, physically, and financially. Fortunately, with advancements in cancer treatments, families can now have more hope than in the past, as eight out of 10 children are successfully treated these days and go on to live fulfilling lives.

Our cancer resource section contains information about various types of cancer, and how they are diagnosed and treated. Information contained here is by no means a substitute for information given by a healthcare provider, but may be a starting point if your child has just been diagnosed with cancer and you are looking for further information.
